Salgado Slideshow
With a few recent articles around the place featuring Sebastiao, I get the feeling something is on it's way. This little slideshow makes for good contemplation.

ReplyDeleteYes, Salgado's pictures are beautiful, sometimes too beautiful when it comes to shoot poverty and misery.
ReplyDeleteAfter a year has passed, I know it's a bit late to comment on Salgado's photography, but anyhow.
ReplyDeleteWhat I dislike of him is that he presents the worst horrors on earth through very beautiful pictures, with fantastic lighting and composition. Poverty is not nice, neither is slavery, famine, drought, wars, all the subjects he works on.
