a post without images

Sometimes, it's harder to shoot than you might think. I wanted to be the tough PJ at my uncle's memorial wake today, but shooting was the last thing on my mind. I wasn't prepared for how much it would affect me personally; there was no way I could get into the right frame of mind when you're surrounded by your family and trying to draw strength from each other. Also, the light was crap, but that's a lame excuse. I guess I'll have to try harder at the funeral...

  1. Sometimes it's okay to not shoot. The memories are so much more poignant than the photos ever could be.

    Condolences my good friend.

  2. Thank you.

I got shots the second time.
